Naturally Beautiful Rubber Stamp Kit
I’ve been sharing sneak peeks on social media –hereand here– of today’s project. Today’s card is a fresh Summer design with lots of contrast, featuring these hand illustrated orange blossom branches, that I watercolored and fussy cut to create a frame around the glitter stenciled black background and sentiment.

I’ve included the cardmaking process from start to finish on the video below… This card is basically a whole lot of watercoloring and a bold stenciled background mixed together for a eye catching final design. It wasn’t a complicated card to make at all… All the contrary, actually! The coloring process is so satisfying, with this botanical stamp and all the rest is quite simple. Click below to watch…

Hello everyone! Last week I went back to one of my favorite crafts… Art Journaling. I’ve been sharing my personal journey over at Instagram Live, and I have to say, journaling is a beautiful process. I had stopped journaling because of how introspective it can be, and also because of my very limited time as a busy mom of two. But I recently got a gift from a dear from of mine, Laurie, and she included a traveler’s notebook set for me. I thought it was such a kind and perfect gift! I knew I had to do something special with those notebooks, and then the thought of journaling came back to me…
Art journaling with traveler’s notebook is the right thing for me at this moment in my life… Small pages, quicker spreads, yet meaningful as can be… Click below to watch my latest art journaling live video, in which I walk you through my creative process!
I’ve listed all the supplies used that I could find online for you on the video description. You can also click HEREand HERE, to check them out!
Hope you enjoy today’s post. It’s a little more personal, but it’s certainly something creative that I thought could inspire you to spread your crafty wings! That’s all for now, thanks for stopping by, and until next time!
To begin, I printed the digital patterned papers on photo paper, which makes the patterns look very bright and pretty. I cut a large A2 panel from the distressed black and white gingham sheet and a smaller rectangle from the poinsettia on chalkboard patterned sheet. I used kraft cardstock for both the card base and the matting frame.
The Poinsettia branch was colored with Spectrum Noir markers. The colors that seemed to match the patterned papers best were the Magenta reds. This is a very detailed image but it will always end up looking regal no matter how much shading you decide to add to it.
Love, love, love this color combo. Black, red and kraft look SO great together. I invite you to try it out for your Holiday and Winter cards this year! This card has a simple layout, but the colors and patterns make it pop beautifully.
That’s it for today. Hope you enjoyed today’s card!
Finally, if you haven’t read my previous post with Brutus Monroe, please do! We are sharing a new giveaway for a chance to win a $25 gift card. YAY! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Until next time!
Happy Monday! Just recently there was an incredible background stamp release over at Unity… I couldn’t help myself and HAD to have the new Barn Wall stamp by Brutus Monroe… It is the kind of stamp that you will use over and over again and that will always look great on cards no matter the season. One of the things that really motivated me to get this one is how great it looked on floral cards the designers were sharing. So yes, I am infatuated with this stamp and I’m not shy about it! LOL. Today I’m combining this background texture with some modern florals from a kit I designed for Unity called Amazing Things.
Watch the video tutorial below to check out how easy putting together a card like this is. The background really gives the card so much character, and the bright florals bring the whole design to life. I think you’ll see your floral stamps in a totally different way now… I know I’ll be framing more sentiments using floral stamps from now on… Just love how they make the sentiment stand out! Click below to watch my process video. Don’t forget to follow me over at YouTube and give this video a big thumbs up!
That’s it for now I hope you enjoyed! I will be sharing more tips on video in the future but I do need to know you are watching these! So leave me a comment over at YouTube and let me know your thoughts! Share with your friends if you can!
Happy Friday! I’m so excited to come here and share some happy news! The new Unity October Sentiment Kit is live now! I created a set of beautiful verses combined with a couple of loose, sketchy flowers I drew recently. I love faith stamp kits and this one in particular comes with SO many verses! I definetely love it and know that it will be used over and over again for my cardmaking and faith journaling.
For today’s card I used the verse from Isaiah 40:31 together with both the florals included in the kit. I colored the flowers with Jane Davenport Aquapastels and Prismacolor Pencils. The background is made with the new Barn Wall stamp by Brutus Monroe for Unity. I stamped the woodgrain pattern on dark teal cardstock using Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink. I also splatterned the background with a white paint pen by Sharpie. I also added some Unity sequins here and there, because I couldn’t help myself! LOL
This new kit is called I am With You and it is on sale right now! So if you’re like me, and you can’t wait to start stamping and coloring with this kit, click HERE. I hope this set inspires you and everyone it reaches through a card, just as much as it inspired me while I was creating it.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what your favorite verse from the kit is… Mine is Psalms 31:24 – “Be Strong and He will strengthen you heart.”
Today I’m sharing the steps I followed to create this card. The techniques I used are perfect for this stamp kit, no matter what colors you use! I’m also sharing links to many of the supplies I used in each step. Hope this gives you a better idea of how to put together a card like this!
To make this card:
1. Use Amalgam Ink to stamp several Pinecone and Poinsettia elements on the top border of a white card panel. Use a Stamp Platform or a Mistito stamp even more precisely each time.
2. Apply color to the background with the ink smooshing technique. In this case I used ink from the Arteza Real Brush Pens, a water mister and a Graphix Monoprint plate for the technique. Let dry the background well.
3. Next stamp more pinecones and poinsettias on a separate piece of white paper.
4. Watercolor the elements with Arteza Real Brush Pens and let dry.
5. Fussy cut the poinsettias and pinecones and add them to the stamped background using 3D Zots and mixed media adhesive for the end of the hanging strings.
If you don’t mind using non-traditional colors on your Christmas cards, this combo might be something to try out this year! Nevertheless, I’m sure you could try this same technique in reds and greens to create stunning traditional Holiday cards also! If you do make a card with this stamp kit and/or this technique please tag us on social media with #gracielliedesign because we’d love to see what you come up with!
Hope you enjoyed today’s post. For many more ideas make sure to follow us here on the blog and also on Facebook and Instagram. We’re always sharing lots of inspiration projects! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Monday! This time I’m back with a new card idea using a brand new stamp kit by Graciellie Design for Unity Stamp Co. This new set is called Faith, Family, Fall, and it comes with this lovely floral pumpkin, that I hand illustrated and put together a few days ago, and also 3 sentiments that you will want to keep using throughout the year! The kit is available now and it’s on sale! Click hereto take a closer look.
My card for today is everything I would love to see on a Fall / Thanksgiving card this year. I’m into high contrast color palettes lately, and I love seeing orange against white. The background is the product of my favorite technique at the moment, which is basically adding Brusho pigment powders to photo paper. I learned this technique from my friend Dina Kowal in a tutorial she shared for Splitcoastampers here. I teared the background so I could add the sentiment to the corner of a second card panel I attached underneath. The pumpkin was colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens.
Hope you have a chance to take a closer look at (and hopefully play with) the new pair of Fall stamp kits we’ve released together with Unity! This is only a taste of all the amazing inspiration projects the team over at Unity will be sharing. We also have a brand new coffee / cocoa / tea mug stamp kit called Cozy Layers Mode! It comes with different elements to mix and match, plus some fun sentiments! Make sure to check that out here!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’m so glad to have the chance to share the news with you! I had so much fun making this card, and I hope it inspires you to create pretty things for the upcoming season! Happy crafting!
Today we’re happy to be collaborating with the awesome and -oh so- talented girls over at theCoffee Loving Cardmakers blog. We’ll be sharing our love for coffee featuring the new Stay Strong frappuccino coffee stamp set.
New Stay Strong Stamp Set
This new kit is available now as a digital and also as a rubber stamp kit at Unity Stamp Co. Come take a peek at the complete stamp set… Click HEREfor the rubber stamp kit and HEREfor the digital stamp set available on Etsy!
My creative process behind these cards
I colored these images using Arteza markers and I even shared the process live on Instagram. I used the colors Bubble Bath Pink, Lavender, Bright Green, Pear Green, and Amaranth Pink. The idea was to match the coloring with the hues on the monoprinted mixed media background. I like to keep pre-made background around and these two happened to be from the same monoprinting batch. If you want to see how I made these, please click HERE
I made a second card with the floral cone stamp from the kit Sweetness. This one is also available in both digital and rubber stamp sets! I wanted to create a set of 2 matching cards for a gift or just for fun and to make them look alike I teared the monoprinted backgrounds and adhered the pieces on opposite corners of the card front. To finish the cards I added a sentiment banner from the kits and lots of pretty sequins from Unity.
That’s all on my part, but as you could see there’s plenty of more to see! I know the girls would love to hear what you think about their cards, so make sure to leave some love on every stop! Join the giveaway over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers too!
Before I go, I invite you to follow me on Instagram to check out how I create my cards! I share live videos with lots of tips and tricks! See you there!

Happy Friday! It doesn’t get happier than this… A super colorful, birthday card with a fun twist. Today I have a card using the new stamps from the kit Hey Friend as balloons! This is one of my latest kits for Unity Stamp Co. and it is one of the most versatile kits I’ve designed… All images and sentiments included in this set can be used and mixed in different ways, allowing you to create unique projects with it every time!
This week I’ve been sharing a few videos on Instagram showing how I colored and put together this card. If you want to take a peek make sure to follow me over there.
This was my first time using the new Amalgam Ink and it does everything it is supposed to do and more. I hand stamped the floral elements on Canson Watercolor paper and also the sentiments on vellum, which I then heat embossed in black. (This ink will dry on vellum in case you’re wondering.) I didn’t need to set the ink at all to start watercoloring the flowers with Zig Clean Color markers, which is great.
I die cut the frame from an Echo Park Summer Dreams patterned paper using an old but cute Spellbinders die called Diamond Effects. I adhered a piece of Polka Dots Clear Toner Sheet behind the frame, foiled with Summer Rainbow Deco Foil, just for fun, no shaker this time.
I fussy cut the flowers with Westcott precision scissors and added them to the card front using XL Tape Runner and 3D Zots by Therm O web. I tried to make the flowers look like balloons, so I used them upside down, adhering them as a cluster.
To finish my card I added the vellum banners with the sentiments and a bunch of pretty sequins by Unity.
Hope you enjoyed! Make sure to visit me on Instagram to watch how I put together this card! Also stay tuned for a second post coming up later today! Until then.
