Hello there. I thought I’d stop by and share with you my latest card using digital stamps from the setSweetness, this time using lilac as my main color. I posted a video on my IGTV channel(on Instagram) showing how I was planning to put together this card and what I was using for each part of the process. Make sure to check that out if you can!
All the images on this card were printed with a laser printer and foiled in gold. That’s one of my favorite things to do with digis. Once foiled you can color the images pretty much with any medium you like and the foil will resist it. The floral cone was colored with Zig Clean Color brush markers. (Watercoloring works great with this technique.) In the end, I added some Iridescent glitter on the heart using a light coat of Mixed Media Adhesive to make it look like a sugar cookie. So cute!
This is actually a shaker card. I created a heart window for the shaker using a die and cutting the shape out from a piece of patterned paper on my die cutting machine. Instead of acetate I used a Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheet for the shaker. I created a pattern using a digital sentiment stamp from the set Sweetness, copying and pasting it to cover the entire piece and then printed it with a laser printer. The toner from the print activates with heat, so I ran it through my laminator, covered with a piece of Gold Deco Foil and that gave me this custom and coordinating clear cover for the shaker heart. I filled the shaker with lots of different kinds of sequins from Unity Stamp Co. (The prettiest sequins ever!)
To finish my card I added a banner with this fun -and real- sentiment which was also foiled in gold! Additional sequins were adhered around my card front too, because I simply can’t have enough…
Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing a bunch of foiled Summer Pineapple themed project ideas. Not only am I going to show you how to make each of these cute cards but I’m also giving away the free SVG files I used to create them!
Free Download • Pineapple Elements and Shaker Card SVG Cut Files
Today we’re offering a free download that includes 2 SVG Cut File packs, one includes pineapple elements and the other one comes with everything you need to put together a pineapple shaped shaker or shaker card. You can mix and match elements cutting the pieces from different kinds of materials. I cut Deco Foil Toner sheets, Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets (acetate), cardstock and patterned paper using my Cricut Explore Air 2. These SVG packs will allow you to create pineapple shaped cards, shaker cards, tags, cupcake toppers and so much more!
The pineapple card SVG pack will also let you create non-shaker cards and those are easy to layer and put together too! The pineapple elements are super fun to play with and I can imagine using them for Summer party decorations and much more! These files were handdrawn and designed by yours truly so I hope you enjoy working with them as much as I did!

This is just a small way to say thank you. I wish you the happiest of Holidays! (This gift will be available until the end of the year.)
As for my card, yes, just as I mentioned on the title this time I thought I’d use one of my everyday floral stamps for a Christmas card… Why not? The flowers are from a kit called Faith & Hopeand the sentiment is fromCheery Christmas, both recent additions to my collection with Unity Stamp Company. I colored the flowers with Prismacolor pencils, using the layering and burnishing technique and just focused on giving each petal a bit of highlight. The center of the flowers has foiled details that I added with Deco Foil Adhesive and Gold Sequins Deco Foil (no laminator needed). I also used some amazing 3D Foam Squares that made them look extra dimensional.
I’ve noticed that each year I tend to go for certain color combinations for my Christmas cards and this year all I wanted to use was red and black… I received some beautiful papers from Echo Park, from A Perfect Christmas Paper Pack and they went perfect with the red on the flowers. The Premium Black Onyx card base and sentiment banner finish off the card design dramatically, adding lots of contrast and elegance.
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed this post. Enjoy the holidays! I’ll be back before the year ends with more inspiration for you! Until then.
Christmas is upon us and I know many of us end up wrapping gifts and making tags and cards in a rush on Christmas Eve. So I am planning ahead preparing some outside of the box last minute gift ideas. This time I’m sharing these cute Christmas Apron gift / money holders!
New Holiday Traditions Papers
These sweet aprons look perfect thanks to our new digital papers from Holiday Traditions. You can find those here. They are super affordable and you can print them as many times as you like to recreate the same look on several projects. Also, I was able to get to aprons per printed 8 1/2″ by 11″ sheet. I printed them in a regular inkjet printer and used it to cut the pieces of this SVG file.
I used the Precious Giftables cartridge -or should I say Christmas giftables- by the lovely Anna Griffin. It includes two pocketsm, one that you can see on the pictures to place a small card, and another one on the back that is perfect for your money gifts. So yes, they are very practical too!
I finished the aprons with pretty stickers from the Very Merry Pack by Simple Stories, beautiful ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and jewel stickers from The Eyelet Outlet.

Yes! Surprise! We have been working behind the scenes with Unity Stamp Company to bring you new rubber stamp kits! We have added 3 new kits to my rubber stamp collection for Unity and we couldn’t be more excited! Today Unity’s designers are sharing beautiful inspiration projects and I decided to join them too with this card and tag featuring images from the new Spark stamp kit.
The sentiments in this kit are very meaningful to me and I always, always try to encourage and lift people’s spirit with every stamp set I design, because I know just how hard life can get at times… I believe that an uplifting word can make a difference. I hope that you love this kit and that you use it a lot too.
I absolutely love the color combination on these projects! I don’t remember the last time I used a deep blue like this… I’m infatuated! (smile) But it all started with the coloring of the stamped images. The coloring usually determines what I will do next with my card design. I used Spectrum Noir markers in vintage blues for the butterfly on the tag and blues and turquoises for the one on the card. The caterpillar is colored with SN greens. I applied some SN sparkle to the images after I colored them and that added a nice shimmer!
I used beautiful patterned papers, most of them from Simple Stories. The bold blue background though is from DCWV. I played with color and mixed patterns quite a bit to create a modern and fresh combination. I love the final look of both the card and tag!

I’m in love with everything in this line and I’ll be showing you how I used the new Therm O Web Decorative die cuts, Foil-Mates and glitter Fancy Foils! I love everything in this new release and I know you will too!
I used beautiful papers from Simple Stories on these ornament tags. I love the more muted, retro color scheme of this paper pack. This one’s called Very Merry and I enjoyed working with it so very much.

Our design team has been sharing some lovely classic cards and they inspired me to go back to basics and make this card set. I used the new Unicorn Wishes Stamp Set and SVG set. I am loving the unicorn trend and these cards remind me of all the beautiful stationery papers I collected when I was around 10 years old.
I cut the unicorn SVGs on my Cricut Explore Air from Aquamarine Mica/Metallic 105# cardstock from Paper Temptress’ Magnolia Dreams Collection. They were really easy to cut, since I created them in a way that they wouldn’t give your machine any trouble. Also, the metallic cardstock I used works great with these SVGs!
I layered different patterned papers from DCWV’s Fairytale Dreams paper pack -including some beautiful glittery cardstocks- using different stitched dies from Gina K. Designs for Therm O Web. I even used the pink patterned paper to print my sentiments. I finished off the cards with white grossgrain ribbon from Paper Temptress and crinkle ribbon from Tim Holtz and embellished both with a stunning flower sticker rhinestone from the Eyelet Outlet.
Blog Hop & Giveaway
I think the pastel colors look beautiful together and the give the cards a dreamy, nostalgic look! I hope you enjoyed seeing these projects and that they inspire you to create some unicorn cards yourself! But wait, there is more to share today, so follow the list below to see what our DT created with the new stamp collection! Comment on each stop for a chance to win a $10 coupon to the shop!
I’m sharing a new card with Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps today and I’m bringing lots of sparkle and mixed media to cheer up your day.
To make today’s card I monoprinted a background with my gel press, a stencil and craft paints and once I removed the card panel from the gel press, while the paint was still wet I sprinkled glitter, mica and other beautiful texture elements that add shimmer to to the card.
I made a border using a strip of patterned paper and an SVG border cut that I created and then added two flowers lightly colored and fussy cut. Finally I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment, in beautiful cursive font, on a matching patterned paper banner. This Magnolia flower and this sentiment are from a set I designed for SNSS called Floral Greetings.
