Giveaway Party Day 1 – Haj Design Papers

Whoo! Let’s get this party started! I am so excited to celebrate and share with you some of things I love! The stores that are going to be featuring during these giveaways are some of my very favorite, and today I am delighted to introduce you to Haj Design Papers by Dzenita.

Dzenita is a sweet European lady graduated in Comparative Literature. She discovered her passion for graphic design and she currently works designing a wide range of products. Her expertise are book covers. She has designed for: University of California, Berkeley, Shanae Hall, Adam G. Tarsitano and many others. She’s gold designer at 99Design community so you can find her there too. She enjoys creating vintage and retro designs and that is why she opened her Etsy store, a place where she combines her knowledge and passion in the creation of digital collage sheets at affordable prices.

My story with Haj Design is based in my love for all things shabby, vintage and above all FLORAL. She designs the most exquisite floral papers, but it doesn’t end there. Dzenita loves vintage, and she has gorgeous vintage designs too. And if that wasn’t enough, she also offers patterns and backgrounds in every color scheme possible! Make sure you stop by her store today: Haj Design Papers

I have two projects to share with you, using Dzenita’s papers. If you follow my work, you know that I use them all the time. First let me show you a birthday card created with “Vintage Beauties”, take a look:

The second project I want to share with you is a birthday album card created with “Fleurs Magnifiques”Here it is:

Details on both projects will be shared in a future post.

These papers are so well designed, it’s an absolute pleasure to work with them. Also, one of their great advantages is that they are digital, that means you can print them endlessly, and even customize their printing size to fit your creative needs. What is not to like?

So with no further ado, let’s start the giveaway… PLEASE!

A card I love with a twist…

Hello!

There are some cards that have to be done again. The Cottage Charm card, is one of them. I must confess I’m in love with sketches that allow some sort of window layout to the card. In the case of this specific card, it’s a window created by the amount of layers and the way they are placed.

So today, I have a remake of the card I love, with a sketch I came up with through trial and error and a twist in the color palette. This image can give you a better idea:

One very important detail is that this card is quite larger (6 1/4 ” long by almost 5″ wide) compared to the original one. But it kept it’s charm. Here it is…

Materials
Shery K. Designs paper – Antoinette
Haj Design paper – Gorgeous Roses
Spellbinders:
– Grand Large Labels
– Butterfly Magic
– A2 Filigree Delight
– Fancy Framed Tags Two
Color Box pigment ink in pink
Ranger distress ink in Spun Sugar
My Pink Stamper – Spanish Sayings
Stampendous – Spanish Messages
Merletto pearls and crystals
Other generic Materials
Kraft heavy weight paper
Old blue pearlescent paper
1 inch pink ribbon
2 inch one sided lace

This is Valentine’s card. The sentiments I stamped are in Spanish and translated it says: “Princess… I love you”. I really hope you like it. This card has a tiny bit of my heart in it. 🙂
