Free Download • Pineapple Elements and Shaker Card SVG Cut Files
Today we’re offering a free download that includes 2 SVG Cut File packs, one includes pineapple elements and the other one comes with everything you need to put together a pineapple shaped shaker or shaker card. You can mix and match elements cutting the pieces from different kinds of materials. I cut Deco Foil Toner sheets, Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets (acetate), cardstock and patterned paper using my Cricut Explore Air 2. These SVG packs will allow you to create pineapple shaped cards, shaker cards, tags, cupcake toppers and so much more!
The pineapple card SVG pack will also let you create non-shaker cards and those are easy to layer and put together too! The pineapple elements are super fun to play with and I can imagine using them for Summer party decorations and much more! These files were handdrawn and designed by yours truly so I hope you enjoy working with them as much as I did!

Flamingo Foil-Mates Card Video Tutorial
Many of you may be wondering if the Foil-Mates paper is thick enough for techniques that use water, and the answer is yes. The paper has a very smooth finish and allows you to apply and blend inks easily. On the other hand, it will hold after using water moderately. On today’s card I sprayed water directly to the Foil-Mates background and although at first you might notice some texture on the spots the water touched, once it dries it will have its original smooth finish.
These cards are lots of fun to make, especially because the Foil-Mates background do the hard work for you… All you need to do is add a bit of color! Click below to learn how to make these Flamingo themed Foil-Mates cards!

I printed the verse using a laser printer and foiled the sentiment in Black Deco Foil, which is actually kind of matte. The foiling made the verse look bolder, added contrast and laminated the print. (It’s a super nice effect.) The flowers were foiled with Lapis Watercolor Deco Foilwhich has blue, silver and champagne hues. By watercoloring the flowers in light blue it made the foiling look tone on tone… Very subtle and elegant. I used Zig markers to color the images.
I invite you to head over to Word Art Wednesday Challengeto check out what the designers created with this beautiful verse and our stamps. WAW designers are featuring cards too, so there are a lot of project ideas for you! Oh, and there is a $15 Gift Card giveaway too so make sure to participate on this week’s challenge for a chance to win new stamps!

I’ve been using decofoil so much lately and something tells me I won’t stop using it any time soon! It just gives your projects such a unique look… It really takes a card to the next level. This time though I used it to stamp my flower. Of course this poinsettia is a digital stamp, which means I went ahead and printed it with a laser printer and used a laminator with some red decofoil transfer sheet to foil the flower. Once your image is foiled it works just as it would with heat embossing, so you can play with a fun foil resist technique. I colored the poinsettia with a Barn Door diy Distress Spray Ink, sponged it with ink and even rubbed some Titanium White Pan Pastel to add highlights -my new favorite mixed media technique-. To make the center of the flower I crushed some styrofoam and glued it with mixed media adhesive.
For that lovely touch of snow I used Snowtex on the leaves and Twinklets on the center of the flower. I had not used these two in way too long so I was glad to add them to this card! Clearly I layered many embellishments and die cuts to frame the poinsettia and used a bit more of foil on a few die cuts to add some interest. There are many ways to foil cardstock for die cutting but this time I used Decofoil Hot Melt Adhesive sheets. You need to run your cardstock twice through your laminator when you use these sheets, one to stick the adhesive sheet to your cardstock and a second time to foil it. I added texture using different kinds of ribbons too and finished off my card with pearls and jewel stickers.
I hope you find inspiration on today’s card! I bet there’s still a few cards and tags you need to put together so I hope this gives you a few ideas. But before I go, I have a little Christmas present for you, my followers… Two digital stamp sets available for instant download, both celebrate the season with fun and inspiring sentiments and pretty images!
